Judging criteria

Technical Innovation:

The judges will assess the technical implementation of the project and evaluate the level of innovation involved in creating the solution. They will consider the complexity of the technical implementation and how it pushes the boundaries of what is currently possible with Polkadot NFT.

Tools/metrics

• Code review - how it builds, components, upgradability

• Expert code review by a panel of judges

• Analysis of the code's readability, efficiency, and maintainability

Usefulness:

The judges will evaluate how useful the project is for solving a real-world problem or meeting a user's needs. They will consider the extent to which the project addresses an existing gap or challenge, and whether it has the potential to create a positive impact in the Polkadot NFT ecosystem.

• A panel of expert judges with experience in the Polkadot NFT ecosystem and related fields

• Evaluation of the project's potential impact on the ecosystem (product fit, similar apps existing)

• Assessment of the extent to which the project addresses a real-world problem or meets a user need

Code Quality:

The judges will evaluate the quality of the code written during the hackathon, considering factors such as readability, efficiency, and maintainability.

Functionality:
