Join us at SubWork in the beautiful Slovenian town of Bled for a memorable, well-being focused, Hackathon experience. We welcome both experienced developers and newcomers to Polkadot ecosystem, the perfect place to; create, learn, collaborate, meet new people and of course, biuld, biuld, biuld!

The Hackathon will start out with two full weeks of online hacking followed by a week in person, in the heart of Bled. During this time you’ll have access to an experienced group of mentors to guide you along the way, helping you bring your ideas to life to create groundbreaking NFT solutions and applications.

The in person hacking week will see each day starting with a focus on wellbeing. Bled is known for its beauty which makes it the perfect location to recharge your batteries, clear your mind and connect with the other attendees. As we all know, a healthy body = a healthy mind, so we’ve planned a week of activities to start the day. Think; a brisk walk around Lake Bled, outdoor yoga taking in the breathtaking views, a focused session of Tai Chi, or, for the more keen attendee, a hike on one of Bled’s many hiking trails.

After a fun day of collaboration and innovation you can expect to enjoy an informative panel, an expert speaker or simply some social drinks with your peers to unwind and connect in beautiful Bled.

Despite the significant growth of the blockchain industry in recent years, there are still significant barriers to entry for developers looking to build high-quality NFT applications on the Polkadot network. Many developers lack the technical resources and incentives they need to create innovative applications that showcase the potential of the Polkadot NFT ecosystem.

This lack of development has resulted in a slow adoption rate of NFTs and a limited use of their unique properties, such as verifiability and scarcity. Additionally, the current development of NFT applications has primarily focused on traditional use cases, such as art and collectibles, rather than exploring the full range of possibilities that NFTs can offer.

The PolkadotBled NFT Hackathon aims to address these challenges by providing developers with the resources and incentives they need to build innovative NFT applications on the Polkadot network. By collaborating with other teams in the ecosystem, we hope to encourage more developers to explore the full range of possibilities that NFTs can offer and to showcase the potential of the Polkadot NFT eco.

Overall, the problem we aim to address is the limited development of NFT applications on the Polkadot network and the lack of exploration of the full range of possibilities that NFTs can offer. Through the Polkadot NFT Hackathon, we hope to address these challenges and drive the growth and development of the Polkadot NFT ecosystem and bring more daily active users that will stay.
